Rolando “Greg” Gomez spent 27 years in the United States Navy, and for nearly a decade of that career worked in direct support of Naval Special Warfare units. That experience is the foundation of the company, not a line on a resume.
He founded D9Tech Resources in 2014 to bring that same standard to federal technology work, and in 2025 he told the story of getting there in his book, From Dropout to CEO, which chronicles his journey through service and entrepreneurship for future leaders navigating federal spaces.
The through-line is simple: a career standing alongside the mission, then a company that holds cleared engineering to the same discipline, from defense mission systems to AWS cloud.
